New 15,000 capacity venue from the team behind Printworks to open this year

The capital's largest space of its kind launches this September

From the brilliant minds behind Printworks, The Beams, Depot Mayfield and more, comes a brand new rave destination. The venue’s operators; Broadwick Live are the industry leaders for breathing new life into disused and derelict spaces, transforming them into cultural hubs which retain their striking characteristics and original charm to create unique settings for live music and arts experiences.

This latest project is their most ambitious to date and sees Broadwick repurposing a giant 608,000 sqft site which previously housed an IKEA warehouse. Just a stone’s throw away from one of Broadwick’s former venues; DRUMSHEDS, the new space will inherit this same name after the original location was forced to close as part of the Meridian Water regeneration programme.

However, the new DRUMSHEDS will be an entirely different beast, focused around a fresh concept. The industrial building has a machine-made feel and true to Broadwick’s style will keep its intended look, with the same sprawling floors, lift shafts, loading bays, and machinery visible on site.

The vast space will fit up to 15,000 ravers across its multiple rooms with a fluid layout which will be reconfigured on a continuous basis to cater to a range of events, fashion shows, set builds, and product activations. Located just 4 mins from Tottenham Hale (on the Victoria Line), DRUMSHEDS will be easily accessible via tube, rail and buses.

Whilst the exact opening date is still TBC, the opening season is set to kick off at some point this September and will no doubt follow the same format as the likes of Printworks’ previous A/W season, running throughout the closing months of the year.
