Boomtown Fair, the immersive music and arts spectacle that has captured the hearts of attendees worldwide is set to return this year, celebrating 15 years of the beloved festival. Taking place in the idyllic Matterley Estate in Hampshire from the 9th – 13th of August, Boomtown promises a mind-bending adventure like never before.

As many will know, each year of Boomtown is known as a chapter, centred around a storyline which builds with every annual instalment. 2022 saw a new beginning following the pandemic with Chapter One : The Gathering resetting the narrative. This year’s highly anticipated Chapter Two: A Twin Trail will expand on the events of 2022 and take attendees deeper into its fantasy world of enchanting characters and mythology.
The immersive festival site is comprised of various districts, each with their own unique identity, designed to transport attendees into the magical world of Boomtown through it’s vibrant landscapes which are filled awe-inspiring stage designs, mesmerising installations and high-octane performances.

The majority of the lineup will remain under wraps until closer to the date, however today’s announcement may give a little taste of what to expect at the wild and wonderful extravaganza.

Boomtown is renowned for its diverse and truly extensive lineups which cover every corner of electronic music and niche underground sounds from across the globe. Everything from jungle, house, d&b, techno, hardcore, dub and beyond. Take a look at previous lineups to get an idea of the sheer number of artists and genres to choose from.

Marking their first appearance in Winchester for over 30 years, The Prodigy’s long-awaited return has been in the works for the past decade, with Boomtown persistently pursuing the iconic band. With their performance at this year’s A Twin Trail event being one of just a select few festivals the group will play this year, their set will no doubt be a performance to remember.

Speaking about the annoucenment, Boomtown co-founder Luke Mitchell said:
“The Prodigy’s energy, immense production value, and influence in the rave scene make them the perfect match for Boomtown, and I’m over the moon that we’ve been able to finally get this nailed down and can now share the exciting news. The Prodigy are the most Boomtown band on the planet.”
