Seismic Dance Event has announced it will be returning to Austin Texas for its fifth year edition. Seismic is a boutique house and techno festival, which has gathered a reputation for focusing on the culture and crowd integration throughout its events. Think Woodstock 69’, everyone coming together for a good time only, and looking after the location it sits on. Seismic has been praised for it’s commitment to sustainability, partnering with the organisation Bye Bye Plastic who worked together for a noteworthy 16,468 single-use plastic cups saved from the landfill in 2021.

The festival will take place 11-13th November, at The Concourse Project, which is run by the RealMusic Events team. The site has merit itself for leading North America’s charge into house and techno. The Concourse Project was recently nominated by DJ Mag as part of their Best of North America 2022 awards, gaining some serious recognition with placement in the Best Large Club category.
The seven acre site in Southern US will be divided into three stages; Volcano, Tsunami, & Frequency. These will be both indoor and outdoor arenas, so you can expect to experience different in each one. Seismic are promising ‘distinct production elements and curation of sounds’ along with ‘Art installations, food trucks, and a multitude of surprises throughout the venue’.

For their fifth birthday they are looking to add new additions to a promising previous roster. Mainstay German duo and Innervisions co-founders ‘Âme’, future house superstar Noizu, Chicago house inspired Shiba San, rave sensation Rebūke, Italian stallion Sam Paganini, and up and coming Pryda Presents star Charles D will all be appearing for the first time.
Supported by regional supports acts like Reue, Shep, and Errow, the new additions will be joined by a host of incredible world leading artists for a huge 3 day line up. On the Friday you have techno royalty Charlotte De Witte, 5x Platinum UK hitmaker Joel Corry and Sydney’s triple platinum tastemaker Hayden James. On Saturday you have UK veteran Fatboy Slim, genre-crossing beatmaker and producer Jamie xx, and tech house favourites The Martinez Brothers. Wrapping up the event on Sunday you have the likes of melodic maestro Dixon, Grammy-nominated duo CamelPhat, and revered contemporary UK house duo Gorgon City.
