Sven Vath, Apollonia & Jeff Mills to play E1 London

Kicking off the year with a bang

East London’s industrial-style nightclub E1 has announced their event lineup for the start of 2022. Exit Records, Helena Hauff, Apollonia, Jeff Mills, and Sven Vath all feature, bringing some big names to one of London’s leading rave venues. With more being added every week, E1 will be supplying many nights to remember for the new year, after starting with LOVEJUICE on New Years Day.

Exit Records take over on January 21st, for a Friday night event in the city. The seminal drum & bass label will be celebrating its 18th birthday, so we expect no expenses spared for the event. There is a whole host of artists on the lineup already, with head honcho dBridge leading the way. Chimpo, Dub Phizix, Fixate, Fracture, Instra:mental, Jubei, Loxy, Skeptical all feature in the Warehouse, hosted by SP:MC for the night. Incidentally, Instra:mental will be marking their debut show after their 2020 shows were rescheduled. Pushing the boundaries in the Black Studio: Om Unit, Dolenz, Ehua, Itoa & Neil Landstrumm will be blasting their styles through the bespoke Funktion-One sound system.

On the 29th January, Helena Hauff headlines the Transmissions 12-hour party. The head-turning sounds of Helena have created a cult following, effortlessly blending electro, breaks and techno. Having played multiple sold out shows over the years, it’ll be no surprise tickets are selling like hotcakes. VTSS makes for a perfect addition to Hauff, with an unmistakably aggressive techno style, to suit perfectly. DMX Krew (LIVE), Mama Snake, Identified Patient, Otik, Toshiki Ohta, Inner Zone, Kmya, and Phoebe Valentine finish the line up for the 29th.

Moving into February, E1 presents Apollonia on Friday 4th. The french trio will no doubt bring their inimitable dynamic to the booth once again for an unforgettable return to the Warehouse. They’re joined by Gene On Earth, Sweely, and more.

There’s another huge night on March 12th, when techno titan Jeff Mills takes to the decks. Jeff has graced the Warehouse before, back in April 2019, showcasing his seamless mixing style. Dasha Rush and MARRON complete the Warehouse line up with two contrasting styles of techno, which will be interesting to see how they match up on the night. In the Black Studio, Jensen Interceptor makes his E1 debut, leading the lineup alongside Boiler Room favourite Nene H.

Then, on April 23rd E1 x Blanche present the legendary Sven Vath as part of his Catharsis album world tour. Recondite, Janina and more play alongside to complete a night filled with deep, hypnotic, four-to-the-floor techno.
