Landing on the shores of Camber Sands this October 15th-18th, finds a living and breathing history lesson in all things dance music across three days and nights. Showcasing the evolution of the genre from jazz, funk and soul through to modern day house music, The Boogaloo Weekender will feature a stacked lineup of legends from the industry.
The unspoilt natural backdrop surrounding Pontins Camber Sands will play host to this rave spectacle, with the site having recently undergone a huge refurbishment. Among the first headliners announced include the likes of house veteran David Morales, Fabric’s longest standing resident Terry Francis, and Ibiza mainstay Matthew B (Bushwacka!) playing the main stage.
Meanwhile breakbeat heavyweights Plump DJs, Freestylers and Krafty Kuts will perform a special set together as King Of The Beats. Other acts set to play include Fabio & Grooverider, Colin Dale, Atomic Hooligan,Eddie Richards, Micky Finn, Normski, Yam Who, Grant Nelson plus many more still to be announced.
Alongside the music on offer, The Boogaloo Weekender will also offer exhibitions, rave flyer galleries, discussion panels, DJ workshops including scratching/mixing lessons and more.
