One of the highlights of Brixton’s nightlife, Phonox, will be the setting for a 10 week residency called ‘Brand New Feeling’ featuring internationally acclaimed selector Palms Trax. Named after the Roy Ayers’ track, the residency will run every Sunday from 26th September to 5th December, with Palms Trax joined each week by a who’s who of electronic talent including Omar S, Shanti Celeste, Motor City Drum Ensemble, and more.

Running from 4pm to 10pm on Sundays, Palms Trax residency will offer a rare opportunity to see a different type of clubbing away from the peak-time. For anyone that’s been raving on a Sunday, it can bring a uniquely special atmosphere to the dance floor, traditionally appealing to music fans with a vibe and energy that can sometimes be hard to achieve with regular Friday/Saturday night programmes.

Phonox are giving back to the community too, with free tickets available for all NHS staff and carers. Free tickets are also on offer to hospitality industry workers as well as a generous allocation of reduced price £5 tickets available to everyone on a first come, first served basis.
Palms Trax, AKA Jay Donaldson, has curated an eclectic lineup across the 10 weeks, weaving across the electronic spectrum to dish up rhythms to appeal to a wide range of fans. Especially as Jay is known for his unique selections, from disco to house to techno (check out his Dekmantel 2019 mix!)
Artists include Shanti Celeste & OK Williams, Hunee, Antal, Omar-S, Motor City Drum Ensemble, Job Jobse, and Young Marco. Also confirmed are fellow Dekmantel affiliates, Kamma & Masalo, Discodromo resident Badino and queen of Tokyo’s underground scene, Changsie. Playing alongside will see rising talent including Tarzsa, head-honcho of Bristol’s Timedance label, Batu, Ruby Savage and Nu Genea to name a few.
Tickets for Palms Trax ‘Brand New Feeling’ residency will be available for presale at 10:00 and general sale from 13:00 on Wednesday 21st July. To sign-up for presale tickets please visit here!
