Joy Orbison, Palms Trax, 808 State & Heléna Star confirmed for Kala Festival

The festival will now take place between 1st - 8th September 2021

This September, the stunning beach coves of Dhërmi will once again become a party paradise. For eight days, the sun-soaked location set along the Albanian Riviera will welcome a carefully curated lineup of live acts and DJs, with some artists performing five hour marathon sets.

Debuting in 2018, the boutique festival has since become a staple in the electronic music calendar. Offering the chance to explore Dhërmi’s unspoiled surroundings with excursions and extracurricular activities by day, and a cherry-picked programme of artists to see you through the night.

Ordinarily taking place in June, like many festivals Kala has opted to move 2021’s dates to later in the year. Their annual stint will now run from 1st – 8th September, in the hope that the vaccine rollout will have been completed well in advance.

Gracing the star-studded lineup will see live sunset performances from the show-stopping soul diva Jocelyn Brown and Manchester’s legendary group 808 State, who’s iconic 1989 hit ‘Pacific State’ still sounds just as good all these years on.

Extended five hour sets will be on offer from seasoned selectors Palms Trax, Joy Orbison, Young Marco and a special secret guest, taking ravers on a journey until the sun rises. Rounding off the festival soundtrack will see the likes of Tama Sumo, CC:Disco, Shanti Celeste & Peach, Skee Mask, Heléna Star and The Menendez Brothers all bringing the party vibes to Kala’s blissful backdrop.
