The head honcho of techno institution Drumcode and its little brother Truesoul announced some exciting news this month. 2021 will see the re-launch of Drumcode Ltd, with the sub label and all of its discography to date separating from the main imprint. Previously the music found on Drumcode Ltd was only available on vinyl with a limited amount of copies. This new venture will see the music re-released digitally on platforms such as Beatport and Spotify for the first time ever.

Staying true to its roots, the sub label will consist of “strictly techno in it’s purest form“, diving into the deeper and darker shades of the genre. The first release; DCLTD.01-22 is an 18 track VA, showcasing a collection of hand-picked favourites from the label’s early back catalogue to take listeners on a journey through Drumcode Ltd’s history.
Artists on the LP include the likes of 2000 And One, Alan Fitzpatrick, Butch, Joel Mull, Marco Faraone, ROD, Steve Rachmad, Billy Turner and many more. The tracks featured will no doubt take you back to some memorable dance floor moments, whilst introducing you to some hidden techno gems you never knew existed.
