The land down under has recently announced news that will come as a mighty relief for all the nightlife lovers and enthusiastic ravers. The country is entering its fourth phase of lockdown, meaning many bars, clubs and music venues are now open for business.
Despite the huge step forward for hospitality and entertainment businesses, venues are required to provide at least two square metres of floor space per person. Physical distancing from others is still also encouraged, with the government urging attendees to avoid things such as holding hands and kissing, although this is not being enforced.
Some clubs such as Connections aren’t opening until July 18th, but many have already began to welcome visitors, resulting in some hefty queue times to get in. These are all positive signs however, with Western Australia now reporting single figures for Covid-19. Many of these venues will also be undertaking more thorough cleaning regimes, especially in higher contact areas.
