The Cause London announce first birthday with secret headliners

The venue has raised 20,000 for charity so far.

London’s DIY dance space, The Cause has revealed its first birthday party which is set to land at the N17 postcode. The club’s key party residents on the bill include: Adonis, Tribes, Syzgy & The Model – with only one headliner being revealed which is Spokenn AKA Ferro & Reiss. The remaining headliners are coined ‘XXX’ and are all firmly kept under lock & key.

The Cause co-founder Eugene Wild goes on to explain the reasons why these artists will be unnanounced;

“There’s a whole load of reasons as to why we’ve kept this under wraps. Primarily we’re 100% DIY. We do most things ourselves at the club, with a very small team. Dealing with the logistics of flights, hotels, ground transport on our birthday isn’t ideal, we’d rather be on the dancefloor with our phones off, lost in the moment of what we have built, celebrating our birthday, on our terms.“

The day and night party will be spread across five areas, two of which are outside and three set indoors. Kicking off at 8am on the 26th May, the secret line-up will be set to usher ravers into the early hours.

The club has managed to raise an impressive amount for charity, after they pledged to raise £25,000 for MIND & CALM during their temporary existence, they’ve already managed to raise £20,000.
