Preview : Stephan Bodzin (Live) at Printworks London

The only place to be this Good Friday

This Friday, Stephan Bodzin will be bringing his highly revered live show to Printworks alongside his own cherry-picked programme of artists. The daytime event running from 12.00 – 23.00 will feature veterans of the Frankfurt electronic music scene Booka Shade (live), Fideles, Dominik Eulberg, special guests Mind Against, and many more.

Printworks is a venue that needs no introduction. The gritty, colossal, and industrial former press facility is able to cater to 6000 ravers across two rooms. Since it opened in Spring 2017, it’s risen to become #9 on DJ Mag Top 100 Clubs – which was also the highest rank for a UK club. With an impressive moving lighting rig and stacks of speakers littered across the dancefloor, Printworks seems the perfect setting for a journey of melodic techno.

Stephan Bodzin has been a hugely influential figure within the global techno scene for years. His enigmatic and melodic techno is unique to him – his productions are driving, hypnotic bass with a very real and memorable sense of melody that sticks long in the mind, and feet, of the dance floor. His live performance is really something to be seen and heard, taking the crowd through their paces and creating mesmerizing, high impact soundtracks on the fly.

Elsewhere on the line up are veterans Booka Shade who will be treating the UK to a rare live show which will be one not to miss. Their eponymous track ‘Body Language’ has been an underground hit for over 10 years (recently sampled by Jax Jones for the number 1 hit ‘Don’t Act Like You Know Me’) and they have consistently set dancefloors into a frenzy with material on their label ‘Get Physical Music’

Fideles, Mind Against, and Dominik Eulberg have all delivered stand-out performances last time we saw them, each bringing their own unique style while still keeping true to the melodic ethos. The Dark Room features and eclectic range of techno, with Christian Löffler (live) and Nicolas Masseyeff joining Luna Semara.

Tickets are on final release here, don’t miss out!
