London’s DIY dance space The Cause is holding a UK-wide fundraiser honouring the late Prodigy star, Keith Flint and as a support of mental health struggles faced by many people in their daily lives. Having already raised over £5500 for charity, the venue are now looking to take their efforts to the next level. All ticket sales will go straight to charities that promote men to come forward in their battles with mental health, with a 50/50 split between Mind and The CALMzone.
The Cause have partnered with venues and local collectives in Manchester, Sheffield, Brighton, Southampton, Leeds, Edinburgh, Glasgow and Southend with many other cities in the pipeline. Across the multiple cities will see events taking place with the aim of raising awareness and funds to support the work of combatting mental health issues.
In collaboration with NLA Artists, local heroes will play alongside those who The Prodigy had formerly shared line ups with in the past, along with artist’s whose records played an integral part of the group’s rise to fame. Shadow Child, Nebula 2 and Infinity Ink’s Luca C are among those set to play; with every artist performing free of charge to support the series, in addition to completing their own individual fundraising.
