London bids farewell to an iconic house music party

One last hurrah for Creche

Founded in February 2010 by one of deep house’s finest exports; Alexis Raphael, Creche took London by storm. Since their humble beginnings, Creche had a dream of causing a shift in house music scene. Hosting parties at quirky east London locations, bringing day time vibes full of everything from disco to the latest house music. Within 5 shows, the brand’s following had grown from a small crowd of friends to 1000’s of ravers lining up to see what this fresh sound was all about.

Sell out shows at Ministry Of Sound followed for years to come, bringing in some of house music’s best selectors. From Jamie Jones and Kerri Chandler to Dixon and Dusky, Creche had them all. A party that offered a unique new soundtrack, throwing some of London’s most legendary parties which will be remembered for years to come.  Unfortunately like all good things, Creche came to an end in mid 2013 with the brand deciding to take a backseat whilst new up and coming brands took the baton.

2016 saw the long anticipated return the iconic party, sticking to their quirky event space policy and even some unused venues. On the 5th of May, Creche host their final farewell show at Ministry Of Sound London, in which will no doubt be an emotional rollercoaster. Headlining will see Miguel Campbell, Waifs & Strays and of course the head honcho Alexis Raphael. Between them will curate a house music masterclass to give Creche the send off it truly deserves.

Alexis Raphael – “We hope you oldskool heads that have partied over the years with us will come and say goodbye to a chapter in London raving history that has been so special. As always, Creche has open arms with smiles and good vibes and so if you never made it to one of our raves here’s your chance to see what the vibes were and are all about at Ministry of Sound!”
