Inner City and Horse Meat Disco confirmed for Moovin’ Festival

Detroit house legends are coming to the UK

Since it’s inception 5 years ago, Moovin’ Festival has grown substantially, establishing themselves as one of the places to be in Manchester this August bank holiday. Starting their journey as a small party for a couple hundred people in a small cow barn, the event has developed organically year on year leading to a sell out in 2018.

The festival will take place at the eco-friendly Whitebottom Farm, in the breathtaking countryside of Compstall – an area filled with luscious green canopies and a beautiful gorge at the site entrance.

“At the bottom of a tree lined valley, a hay barn with a fat sound-system. A freewheeling crowd, no VIP red ropes, no hassle from the authorities, just music and good vibes” 90s free party? No. Moovin’ festival, Manchester, .” – Groove Armada 2018

Whilst their lineups may feature some big names, the festival’s capacity is kept small with good reason. Aiming to create an intimate vibe, Moovin’ prides itself on bringing you compact and personal experience. The names featured echo their devotion of shining a light on the freshest upcoming acts, along with the rare chance to see esteemed artists in an up close and personal environment.

This year’s edition will see industry heroes brought to Manchester, with Detroit house specialists Inner City topping the bill. Playing with a live band alongside them, will see the act commemorate 30 years in the game. Sure to play some of their biggest hits including “Good Life” and “Big Fun”, there’s no doubt this performance will be one to remember. Alongside finds Glitterbox regulars; Horse Meat Disco, bringing some groovier sounds to the festival and Chicago house legend; Marshal Jefferson. Nightmares on Wax, 2manydjs, and plenty more have also been confirmed for what’s set to be a big year for Moovin.
