The prestigious party returns for it's 11th edition

On February 2nd, the historic landmark Klokgebouw in the Strijp-S district of Eindhoven is once again set to be graced with first class production, the world’s finest techno DJs, 9000 fans and the signature Awakenings party vibe.

A brand with over two decades of experience, Awakenings has been curating illustrious techno parties in their spiritual home of the Netherlands since 1997. Throughout the years has seen the concept delve into various themes, exploring and showcasing the many sub genres of techno. Their summer festival has since become their most popular instalment, pulling in 60,000 ravers from across the globe year on year. This February marks the 11th edition of their Eindhoven Festival and the start of many parties to come in 2019.

Eindhoven is the 5th largest city in the Netherlands, located in the south of the country. Famous for its technology and creative design, the city has become a favourite for Awakenings, who’ve put it’s trademark assets to perfect use. The upcoming party is due take place from 22.00 to 07.30, at the Klokgebouw.

Aside from being a rave venue, the Klokgebouw is also an admired tourist attraction. Its historic buildings were built by Philipps electronics between 1922 and 1930 to produce radios & TVs during the Second World War, and today sees more the 300,000 visitors a year. The raw and gritty industrial settings now play the perfect space to host a night of thumping techno.

The festival offers easy access via public transport, with trains stopping just outside the Klokgebouw for the start of the party. The return journey makes use of a free shuttle bus service that runs from 6am onwards, directly to Eindhoven Central station. Car parking is available from €6 and can be purchased inside the party so you don’t miss a single moment!

This year’s edition sees another jaw-dropping lineup, with a variety of techno spread across 3 areas. Helena Hauff, Laurent Garnier, Amelie Lens, Ben Klock and Dax J are all confirmed.  The night also will feature an infamous closing set from Drumcode label boss Adam Beyer, along with a live performance from Âme and a special B2B from Bart Skils & 2000 and one. What better way to kick off 2019 than with a techno treat, courtesy of Awakenings.
