This December, UK label Anjunadeep will be taking over the industrial halls of Printworks with no fewer than 18 artists spread out over the two rooms, bringing the finest in deep house. Founded by Above & Beyond and James Grant in 2005, the label has become best known for their timeless, soulful, and melodic house music showcasing a deeper side to the dance floor.
2018 has been a landmark year for the label, as they head towards their 400th release and return fresh from the Open Air series which saw over 25,000 attendees at events around the world. Their debut London event in August earlier this year attracted 7,000 people for a one day festival on Three Mills Island.
Saturday December 8th is set to be a special affair, with fan favourites Yotto and Luttrell getting together for a rare back-to-back to close the main room. The head honcho James Grant joins his frequent collaborator Jody Wisternoff for a 2hr set. Alongside are rising stars Eli & Fur, Jeremy Olander, Joseph Ashworth and Kidnap in the main room. Room 2 sees domestic talent Alex Metric & Ten Ven, John Monkman and Galago, as well as international stars Dosem, Modd and Dee Montero.
The unique space inside the old south London printing press, combined with their staggering light and sound production, promises a tantalising Anjunadeep experience like no other.
