It’s not often that you find an artist who can equally match their skills in both production and DJing. Leeds based artist Ashley Burgoyne has honed his craft, both in the studio and the booth to become the dexterous multi-skilled performer/producer known today. His infectious grooves known for bringing something fresh to the table have since turned the heads of high profile record labels, having already featured on Steve Lawler’s VIVa Music.
His “Wacomin” EP on Underground Audio has made movements in the scene since it’s release earlier this year, with Radio 1 legend Pete Tong regularly supporting. The respected radio presenter has since dubbed Kreature as one of house music’s rising stars, inviting him into the BBC R1 studio for a 30 minute hot mix on the All Gone Pete Tong show.
Away from production, Kreature’s high standard DJ sets have catapulted him into the limelight. Recently securing a residency for the MOOD parties at the W Hotel in London, playing alongside industry heavyweight Erick Morillo this November. Able to switch up his style from the main stage crowds to the weird and wonderful after party vibes, his diverse and colourful selections have led to a busy schedule, with a long list of performances including Parklife festival this summer.
This month will also see Kreature play a showcase hosted by ABODE at Mint Warehouse in Leeds. The fundraiser event which Kreature has played an instrumental role in organising will donate all funds raised to The ABODE project, supporting the charity’s fantastic efforts in providing schools for children in Uganda.
2018 has been a flying year for Kreature, and what is no doubt just the start for the young rising talent.
