Preview : ABODE In The Park 2018

From humble beginnings to international heavyweights, ABODE's journey to the top has been quite the ride.

During their 4 years in the game, ABODE have become a household name in the industry. Evolving from Studio 338’s new kids on the block, to hosting Amnesia’s Thursday night in Ibiza. 2018 marked the year of their very own international festival in Malta and now to close the season, they return to Finsbury park for the second instalment of ABODE in the Park.

Keeping the UK festival within their London home territory, ABODE have built the foundations of their brand here, and with it their ever-growing following. Hosting countless sold out parties at Studio 338, Printworks & Tobacco Dock, there’s no doubt the ABODE family will be out in full force at Finsbury Park.

Opting to build on the success of last year’s stint, ABODE will introduce new stages to the festival for 2018. Curating some of the scene’s well versed brands to adorn their arenas, these names will keep the crowd grooving from open till close. The likes of Steve Lawler’s Warriors, Danny Howard’s Nothing Else Natters, Lovejuice, Little Festival & the increasingly popular house vibes of ABODE sister brand; Hotbed will all have their own arenas, jam-packed with industry favourites.

Alongside the big name brands will see the return of ABODE’s beloved residents, who’ve shot into the limelight over the past few years, parallel to the party’s success. The ingenious production of GW Harrison, the b2b wizardry of Jack Swift & Devstar, and the energy of Ellie Cocks have all become signature traits, which ABODErs travel far and wide to see.

Complimenting their residents, ABODE have ushered in a plethora of talent following their recently announced full lineup. The likes of East End Dubs, Lee Foss, Sante and Sidney Charles, wAFF, a special b2b from Cuartero & Hector Couto and many more will feature on the day.

Last year’s production saw plenty of eye candy for the crowd, presenting dizzying strobes, lasers, and multiple Co2 cannons neighbouring the stage, all backed by LED panels, adorned with captivating graphics to keep everyone glued to the front. If ABODE’s meteoric rise is anything to go by, this year will be even bigger.
